Medical Terminology
 
While working in the healthcare field, it is important to know basic medical terminology. Yes, it  looks like a whole other language! And that’s partly true, because much of medical terminology is  based on Greek and Latin. It can be intimidating, but you don’t want to walk around not knowing  what your co-workers are saying. We will start off slow and break some of this down. Let’s travel  back to grammar school and take a look at word structure:
Root - The main part of the word  Prefix - Comes before the root word  Suffix - Comes after the root word
